Rosseyanka is an exceptionally hardy persimmon variety and a particularly good choice for growing in cooler climates. It produces attractive deep golden orange fruit with a deliciously sweet, rich flavour and soft texture when fully ripe.
The fruit is normally ready for picking from early October and can be enjoyed fresh or used for cooking and baking. Rosseyanka is self fertile and reliable, with attractive glossy foliage that develops beautiful shades of gold and orange in autumn. For best results, grow in a sheltered position in well drained soil.
